Our standard solutions must be worn for 6-8 hours before rinsing. Our rapid solution must be worn for 2-4 hours. 2 hours for a light tan, 3 hours for a medium tan, 3.5-4 hours for a deep tan.

For a deeper color, book your appointment the day before your event. For a more subtle glow, book your appointment for 2-3 days before your event.
Wearing loose . dark clothing after your tan and flip flops or sandals are what we recommend to avoid flaws in your tan during development.
You can undress to your comfort level, we are professional. Male clients must wear undergarments.
Yes, please! When you exfoliate, you increase the blood circulation and the lymphatic system which in return encourages new skin cells, breaks down fatty tissues, and drains toxins from the skin. Be sure to use an exfoliate that is oil-free, like Sjolie’s All Natural Sugar Scrub.
About 7-10 days depending on your after-care. Using a tan extender that contains a small amount of DHA such as Sjolie’s Tan Extend and a body wash designed to prolong the life of your tan like the Sjolie Body Wash, will extend the length of your tan, while also keeping it even and rich.
Moisturize regularly and stay hydrated in the days leading up to and following your spray tan. Consider using a moisturizer designed specifically to prolong the life of your tan, like the Sjolie Tan Extend as mentioned above. Also, remember to pat yourself dry after showering! (don’t rub!)
Yes! Spray tanning is the healthiest way to get the color and glow you are looking for. If you haven’t spray tanned with us before, we suggest that you do a test tan at least two weeks prior to your event. This way, we are able to make adjustments if the color is too light or too dark. Schedule your tan 1-3 days before your big day.
Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is made from raw sugar cane and FDA approved for cosmetic use. When DHA is combined with the amino acids in your skin, it reacts by giving your skin a tan appearance. Allergic reactions are rare, but consult with your physician before your appointment should you have any concerns.
Exfoliate 18-24 hours before the sunless session using a spa grade exfoliator. Be sure to get shaving and pedicures out of the way during this time as well!
Shower at the recommended time. Showering prematurely or too late can affect the outcome
Hydrate your body-drink plenty of water and moisturize 1-2 times per day
Use a Tan Extender Lotion when your tan begins looking dull to improve your tan appearance
